When walking into the shop, you will notice this banner next to the entrance. It shows some of their main dishes and the price list. Lemme give a few example, picture too small to view here … Tom Yum Mi/Mi Hun – RM4.50, Kari Ayam – RM3.50, Nasi Ayam Lada Hitam – RM6.90 & etc.
When I went in, it was almost packed as it was the lunch hour. The decor for the shop is really simple but its very clean. The kitchen is located behind the yellow shirt waiter.
I had Curry Chicken Rice. This is a nice set as the curry chicken is thick in coconut milk and also the portion is large too unlike other shops selling the same food around town.
My girlfriend had Nasi Briyani Ayam Merah, nice blend of sour and sweet flavor. The nasi briyani color might be different from what we used to consume, but the bunga cengkih smell is just nice not too overpowering.
After a satisfying meal, nothing is complete without ordering drinks, I ordered Sirap Bandung, for those who do not know what this is, its actually red syrup mixed with milk. This is good, but I still prefer another version of it called Bandung Soda (I’ll get to that when I review the real Nasi Briyani Shop).
My girlfriend ordered Ice Blended Guava mixed with Soursop. Very nicely blended, it has the taste of both fruits and not one trying to overdo the next. So if you people are in town, do give this restaurant a try.
